These look amazing. It doesn’t get any better than drawing with scissors and upcycling old paper. Have you done a substack piece on how you work an idea then prepare it for the printer, and how you work with the printer? Or maybe you print them in your studio? Just curious because your final books are so nice.

Thanks, Melissa! I don't think I have written a post specifically about prepping zines for the printer, but I should. Thanks for the idea!

I admire you for challenging yourself this way. And for rethinking what drawing can be.

Thanks, David. Whenever I make a collage, I think of the Matisse quote describing it as "drawing with scissors."

LOVE these. I will DM you re. a pack. These are just gorgeous - adventurous and real - have not seen anything like them before.

Wow, I love these! Funny, I took a figure drawing class at MECA years ago and one of the sessions we were all instructed to use collage - it was my least favorite session! But now I really enjoy collaging, makes me want to try it with live figures too.

That's so funny! You should! It's a great way to reuse scraps from other collages and projects.

Such a fun way to jazz up alive drawing class! It’s making me eye my own hoard to painted paper for inspiration.

Thank you, Katie. You should!
