These are great! I tried hourly comics this year too but went super low-fidelity (pencil) so I could better my odds at completion :) If you're up for sharing, I'm curious about your process - was the text also in gouache and then scanned in or did you add that digitally?
Thank you! I painted the bold text (Hourly Comics Day and Good Night) and lettered the rest with a brush on Photoshop. I like lettering with ink, but I was already a couple days behind with this one, so I figured that digital painting would suffice. Hope you also had a fun time making your hourlies this year. :)
It was! Well, I wasn't able to finish all the painting in one day, and since I teach full-time, I worked on it for a couple of hours on Sunday and Monday, as well.
